Park Guidelines

The Oconomowoc Parks system offers a wide variety of activities and amenities throughout the city for all ages and interests. Whether you seek an active or passive experience, the local parks can provide an enjoyable visit year round.

We ask that all users follow the guidelines listed in order to make the parks a pleasurable environment for all.

bulletNo person shall operate or ride upon a bicycle, motor scooter, motorcycle or snowmobile in any park within the city. This includes the Fowler Lake boardwalk, pier and gazebo.
bulletAll municipally owned parks within the city shall be closed to all persons between 10:00p.m. and 5:00 a.m. daily except Riverside Park which shall be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. daily.
bulletIntoxicants and fermented malt beverages shall not be consumed upon the premises of any city park after 8:00 p.m. This restriction shall not apply to Roosevelt Baseball Field or Champion Field.
bulletDogs are prohibited in city parks including the Fowler Lake boardwalk, pier and gazebo. This prohibition shall not apply to registered seeing-eye dogs when accompanied by their owners.
bulletNo person shall ride, lead, graze or tie up a horse or horses within any public park or parking lot within the city.
bulletNo person shall carry, transport or have in their possession any glass bottle or container in any city park including the Fowler Lake boardwalk, pier and gazebo.
bulletNo person shall feed wild waterfowl on any property owned by the City of Oconomowoc.
bulletParking will be allowed in designated parking areas only.
