City Hall 174 E. Wisconsin Avenue Oconomowoc, WI 53066 City Planner - Jason Gallo...... 262-569-2166 jgallo@oconomowoc-wi.gov City of Oconomowoc ContactsThe Planning Department is charged with the responsibility of planning for the orderly growth and development of the City and environs which includes the preparation (and periodic update) of the comprehensive master plan. The master plan extends beyond the limits of the City to the peripheral planning area. The plan envisions that development of the City will extend into the adjoining Town of Oconomowoc (to the north) and Town of Summit (to the south). The plan strives to maintain a balanced growth pattern outward from the City center served by a full range of urban services (i.e. sanitary sewer, centralized water system, shopping, employment opportunities, parks) and protecting the natural environment (wetlands, floodlands, shorelands and environmental corridors). The City Planner also serves as the Zoning Administrator and reviews all proposed development in the City. New development is typically reviewed by City staff at a regularly scheduled staff meeting [second and fourth Wednesday mornings of each month], and by the Plan Commission at their regular monthly meeting [second Wednesday of each month beginning at 7:00 pm], and – for conditional use permits, rezoning, certified survey maps and final subdivision plats – by the Common Council at their regular monthly meetings [first and third Tuesday of each month beginning at 7:30 pm].
